The Crucial Ballistix are guaranteed to be Micron D9 based. I believe the Corsair XMS2 and OCZ Platinum also use D9 chips. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong on this.
 
LOL I'll never upgrade again when ram is outrageously priced. I gave $220 for memory back in Dec that is now half the price. Almost makes me want to buy some more up incase prices go up but I don't really need 4gb memory.

These cheap prices does make one want to get more regardless if he needs it or not 😀. But I must resist.
