I think there are a couple of these pics around, one is Navy, I think the other is Air Force. Still an outstanding pic.

OT
"Since we are on the subject, here is a pic of my wife's brother. . Its the Navy, he landing on a boat "

hint
Do NOT let him hear you refer to it as a boat. It's a ship.

When I was in the Navy, we referred to them as targets. 😉

<< Do NOT let him hear you refer to it as a boat. It's a ship. >>

He refers to it as "the boat."

He says, "we are going to fly to San Diego and get on the boat for a cruise."

A cruise meaning 6 months at sea on that thing,

It's wayyy older than that Danny... First time I saw it was about 2 or 3 years ago on Art Bell. Thats a kewl show when he talks about the "weird" stuff lol.

This is a pic I took a few years back, it will give you a clue as to the size of the "boat" that plane was landing on. This is the USS J.F. Kennedy CVA 67

Happens when you break the sound barrier. The sound emitted from the nose of the plane cannot get out of the way of the plane.

Did you guys see the other pics from the site posted in the original post? Some very amazing shots. Even makes for good desktop backgrounds. 😉
