Actually there have been strong correlations between IQ and success in life. It may not measure "intelligence" per se because there is no concrete definition of intelligence, but it is still something significant.

I'm sure the number of people currently attending Penn State or another huge public university right now is greater than the number of Princeton graduates currently alive. Most of which I'm sure aren't still residing in NJ.

They do have good prep schools, but they also have a load of sh!tty public ones. Tied with MA for 2nd-3rd place!? No way.
