Where are newer games? Not bad review (don't get me wrong) but newer games are missing.

So is not realizing you can buy a 9800P for $210 at NewEgg, where they supposedly obtained their prices.

Their's- NewEgg's Best

5950- $409 - $372

9800Pro- $254 - $207

5900XT- $187 - $175

9800XT- $464 - $419

9600XT- $181 - $153

5700U- $196 - $169

All their prices were a bit off, not just the R9800Pro :)

>Nvidia vs. ATi

Instead of comparing companies, why not compare products?

When the GeForce 3 was first released, you know you were all over NV's nuts.
Such fickle fanboys.

I don't if it was just me or what. But it looks like quite a few of the benches were cpu limited. Why he used a P4 2.4 is way beyond me. He very well should have used something like a P4EE, Athlon64 or FX. I don't understand why he used such a slow cpu.

That's because not all people that own such cards use P4EE/AthlonFX, plus not all review sites gets free $1000 CPUs, nor could they afford them.

.....did you look at the article?

It's true that some newer games would have been appreciated.

In the course of editing this review, the price had already dropped somewhat.

By the time he started to write the article, those prices may have been accurate.

Good article though... I really want to pick up a 9800Pro, but I wanna wait for NV40 to come out, so the price drops even further.
