Actually... a "tornado alley" is a really good idea. If big 20/30 ft. concrete ramped walls were built parallel to roads on the outer edge of properties, it would create a static pressure system during tornadoe weather, either detering tornadoes or breaking them up altogether.

Maybe if tornadoe states would plant some forests they wouldn't have this problem.
