nice hotel in toronto?

the wife & I are hoping to book something tonight for labor day weekend. Something central & classy is desired. Any recommendations? budget is <$250 a night.

I lived at the Hyatt in downtown Toronto for about 3 months. Very comfortable and great service. Not cheap, but I wasn't paying.

Anyone have any opinions on Novotel Toronto Centre Hotel? I'm actually going to Toronto for labor day weekend as well. A band called "The Fullblast" is having a reunion show on the 31st in Toronto.

I'll let you stay in my garage for $100/night. Accommodations and service is crap but I am near Toronto. You can either drive the 25 minutes or hop on the train.

There are so many fancy hotels within a few blocks in downtown it's not funny.

If you're cheap, there are some in the burbs that should be close to a subway line: $2.60 per trip for adults.
