I sent my resume to a company a few weeks ago. I hadnt heard back from them so I just forgot about it. I was browsing through Monster.com yesterday and saw they had just put up a new ad. I sent them another email that was very brief, but pointed out all the reasons they would want to talk to me. They called me this morning saying that they wanted me to come in tomorow for a 3 hour "sales interview," whatever that is.
This could be a very good thing. I talked to a couple of guys that do this and they pull in over six figures. They said that you can pretty much count on $60k your first year, unless you suck.
If all goes well the  will be on me for a while!
some links that will help explain why I am job hunting
the crackhead that threatens my life
the plant stealing family
my wonderful boss
UPDATE:
So I went to the company's local HQ today. Was in a room with 2 other people taking a 250 question test. It had everything from basic math to reading comprehension. Apparently they grade your test, attach it to your resume, then the boss looks at your resume.
I think I did pretty well. There was only a couple questions I didnt have time to answer. There were 4 or 5 seperate tests, and each one had a time limit. The final part was about 40 or 50 questions and we only had ten minutes to answer them.
Anyways, they said I should hear something by Monday.
/me crosses fingers
UPDATE 4-16:
Got a call from their head recruiter for the region. He said he was impressed with my test scores. I have a face to face with him Tuesday morning. I cant wait!!!!
