Its a Glock 18 - an NFA regulated item available only by post 86 dealer sample.

It must be the mythical, ceramic Glock 7.

j/k

It's either a Glock 18 or an illegally modified over-the-counter model. Heat really wouldn't be an issue doing that a time or two and then letting the gun cool. Was that 100 or 200 rounds? You wouldn't want to run 4 or 5 of those magazines successively through the gun, though.

100 rounds of 9mm isn't that expensive. The Glock-18 on the other hand is very expensive.

I guess that's true, being 9mm and that you could do cheap ammo. I'm used to about $1/rnd for my carry ammo.

I BELIEVE thats the one the character Morpheus from Matrix 2 used when he shot the twins car up. I saw it on the extras' portion of the DVD where they showed the Hollywood "armorer" set it up for him to shoot.

Yup, it is. A guy in my CF reserve unit was the armorer for that movie. You should SEE the toys this guy has to play with. P90s, G36s, russian PKM and almost every model of AK...it's CRAZY.

Yeah, what suprised me is that they are the actual weapons and they just use blanks. I always thought they used specially made "fakes."

how do they go about acquiring those I wonder? I mean, I didn't recall seeing an exception in the NFA or any of the executive order bans that allowed movie people to get them...

I'm pretty sure after the 10th bullet you can't even hit a human size target out to 25 yards or so.

he looked pretty deadon. Can't see how far his target was...but at 75 feet a pistol is the wrong tool anyway.

What exactly was the point of that... he was just feeding mag after mag to it and then firing. Does that make him... cool?
