That would be my website...
I have it hosted on Godaddy for $3.95/month.
500 megs, 25 gigs traffic. Fairly good deal, and you've seen the speed.

Right now the only thing major it's hosting is some music, a Crossfire video, and also Doom 95.

I'll put up a link to this thread, just to prove to you that I am the owner.

Also, one more nifty thing that gghax does is if you go to www.gghax.com?asdf it displays "asdf" on the homepage. "asdf" can be replaced by anything. Right now there is very, very little php scripting involved, and it still displays "%20" for spaces. I'll fix this soon.

Banned? What is this "banning" you speak of?

7 milliBytes/s? That's quite slow!

If you can be bothered to capitalize the Bytes, at least use a capital M too (unless your speed is indeed only 7 milliBytes) 😉

It's Firefox's download manager. Files will download when you are deciding the save location. When you do begin the download it wil show the inflated numbers.

The inflated numbers are due to a lack of data. 10 megabytes in 20 seconds is a more accurate count than 90kb in 1/10 second. I used to think my downloads started out super-fast, and then slowed down, but then I realized this inherent flaw: unlike the amount downloaded, which is accurate (it knows how much it's swallowed), the speed is relative and you generally don't get an accurate count within 5 seconds.

[edit]
Ahh, who cares? my servers rock!

If you haven't already, go to gghax.com and watch that clip of John Stewart tearing up the Crossfire guys. [in the music section]
