Nice Around Ear Type Hi-Fi Stereo Headphones - $4.99 Radio Shack's

Went out at lunch and got a set...my local RS has them on the rack for $21.99 (not $24.99 like the coupon states), but still a good deal...Thanks!

I went to two different Radio Shacks and picked up two sets of these. Pretty nice deal for $5. Picked up a $5 Playstation to USB adapter too.

Thanks!

Challenger,

I don't know because I gave one to my son and one to my daughter and they haven't taken them out of the wrapping yet.
But I can tell you that the sales clerk was dumfounded.

i'd also like to know the quality of these. i have a pair of jensen street-style headfones and the cushioning is starting to come off so i'm looking into a new pair. thanks in advance!!!

//krunk (^_^x)

I cant get the coupon page to show anything? when i go to the link above (the fixed link) i see the headphones at 80% off, it says click for coupon, a popup comes up with this text in it

Please print this page and present it at your local RadioShack store.

(but there is no pic, info, price, nothing, then it just says...)

This offer is valid at all RadioShack stores and participating dealers in U.S.. Offers are not valid with online or phone orders.
Find a store near you:

BUT nowhere in the popup are any pictures or descriptions or information about the deal, I guess I could print the page that shows the item and price, and I am familiar with these print and carry in coupons, but for this item for me I am getting nothing but the above text, no pic, no price, no description even....

Bill

How do these compare to my grado 325's? mwauahahaha

(sorry i'm listening to them right now i had to 🙂 )

I just went there and it pops up fine for me...you should get the coupon above the text you quote (This offer valid...). The coupon's needed because at the bottom of it are the instructions to the clerk on how to ring up the sale price. Try clearing your temp internet files and reloading the page.

I bought a pair yesterday and although thye cost $5, I don't think they are worth the money and will be returning them today. Having a pair of wrap-arounds, I have no need for them and rather spend that $5 on the USB PSX adapters 😀. Plus the sound quality sucks...

So my conclusions are this: have a pair, don't buy, don't have a pair, buy, but don't expect too much.

Got some yesterday and have been using them today. For the price they are a super deal. Sound quality is ok and they are really comfortable. Clerk couldn't believe the price either.

i bought one too. the sales clerk had to check online to make sure the coupon was for reals. the sound quality is just ok. it really shouldn't be priced at ~ $25 in the first place, but $5 is good. it comes with a pouch and a couple color caps (neon green, blue/purple, orange). it's pretty cool because it folds up, which is pretty convenient because you can pop em in the bag or in your backkpack/pocket.
