NIC for Win 10

My onboard network interface adapter on my desktop recently stopped working. Thinking I could easily replace it with an inexpensive PCI or PCI-E card, I found that these cards offer no support or drivers for Windows 10. what's the deal?

Can anyone suggest a NIC that will definitely support Win 10. thanks...........

That's a fairly old NIC, the chipset used is from 2005. It doesn't support any of the newer features you'll find out there (Jumbo frames, vpro, etc, etc)

I would personally elect for something like the Intel i210-T1 or T2. Much newer chipset. (from 2013)

It's a replacement for a dead onboard NIC on a desktop. Odds are pretty good he doesn't need any of those features. That said, that NIC does support 9K jumbo frames.
