NHL2004 for PC

I've been playing it the last couple months, to excess sometimes. I neglect my other games on my hdd and just play this. 🙂 It's fun, been doing a dynasty lately. I thought the goaltending was too good first too but there are ways to get it in there easily. I guess if you knew how to play hockey IRL it would help, but the best way is to get a fast guy and go sideways, perpendicular to the goaley, and as you are going away from him, a backhand will get it in often. Although I do play on medium difficulty, so I'm sure things might change on hard.
 
I play it all the time. It depends how much the computer wants to win. 😉

Unlike the other NHL series, you can?t just wire open shots and score on the goalie. You have to learn to one time them, make the goalie go down early by dekeing (sp?), taking shots when there are traffic in front, and crashing the net hoping to catch a rebound.

... Unless you have Forsberg. He can score cheap goals. 😛

Since all the 2005's will be out in a couple of months, I saw all the 2004's for $19.99CDN at Walmart today... picked up a copy of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 today for that price 🙂
