NHL2001 + WIN2K PROFESSIONAL problem :(

i just got nhl2001 today from gamestop.com i installed it on win2k pro and it works fine, played against my roomate through the lan, BUT when i tried to start a season, i get `hard drive full` error, and i have a little less then 8 gigs available on the drive, what gives?!

The good news is I did not realize NHL 2001 was compatible with Win2K...the bad news is I am not sure why you would get an error message like that.
