Word is that they've reached a consensus on a salary cap and that they are working out the details now (qualifying offers, free agency, etc). Supposedly, they're expected to reach a deal sometime in July.
 
NHL sucks fat balls. No one care as you can see from last season. It gets kaput, and no one cares. NHL is like the MLL, no one will watch because its borring. Hell if you have to encourage fighting just to get a little intrest, you suck.
