I would have thought Forsberg would go for more, I would have thought at least $6M/year, that's what Naslund signed for, and Iginla got $7M/yr

Well....... maybe he came to the realisation that he will not be playing in the NHL for too long and that this maybe his last contract here and he is going to a strong team......... so maybe he sacrificed some salary for a chance at a contender?

Doubtful, Theodore is a proven goalkeeper and with Koivu they are the backbone of the team. They don't even have a definite back up yet, and I don't think that Price is coming straight to the NHL.
