the Bruin's owner sucks....they need to rip that team out of his cold icy hands. He's let so many people get away over the years, and we haven't signed ****** to replace those we've let get away.
 
The Boston Bruins have traded Joe Thornton to the San Jose Sharks in exchange for forwards Marco Sturm and Wayne Primeau as well as defenceman Brad Stuart.

Jeremy Jacobs refuses to spend good money on this team. Every year he rips the heart out of one of the most loyal fan bases in the NHL. All we need is another piece to put together a decent playoff run, but he can't do that even.
So every year it's a #1 or #2 seed, and we get beat by the 7th or 8th seed. I quit. ****** the NHL. We have an AHL affiliate in my city, at least it's fun to watch them. UGH
screw the NHL. ****** THEM in their ****** asses
 
I am a Habs fan.I would normally laugh at this.But its just ridiculous.This trade shouldnt have never happen.This is the worst trade i saw for the past 15 years.I think mike Milbury look better in his yashin for spezza,chara,muckalt deal

it's like we got back one decent guy in the trade....honestly it's like getting 3 quarters on the dollar. they JUST signed THorton this summer, and I was thinkin for the first time in years 'wow maybe they're going to actually open up the purse strings a little bit and invest some into this team' blech.

I dunno, can the Bruins be any worse off? It's not like they're on a tear and Thorton was the reason. Sometimes a team needs a good shake up to get it back on track. This just might do it for Boston.

As a Canucks fan I understand the feeling though, when Bure was traded I was upset(though also torn),same with Linden, and with Mogilny. Though trading such star players seems stupid, it often opens things up within a team. Naslund, for example, was a mediocre player until Mogilny(IIRC) was traded. He soon became a star player after being removed from the shadows.

exactly....it's not like we got a star back...we got a good defensive player and scraps. Not only that, it's like they signed thorton just to sell some more season tickets...then traded him at the first convenient slump. it's not like they're going to get BETTER by trading thorton...who else is gonna rise to the occasion and fill in for him....samsanov...........?
