I was at the mall Sunday when a car pulled up in front of me. It had a NYS vanity plate that said SHANTANU.

Guess what make and model it was?

A new silver Honda Civic.

Stuff like this is why I need to get a cheap digicam for my car glovebox. A few weeks ago we were going somewhere and this car passed me with a license plate that said

LE 555 BO

(I think that's the format, the new ohio plates are two letters, two or three digits, then two letters)

It was even a woman driving, we were all cracking up. As far as I can tell, it wasn't a vanity plate, she just got the shaft when it was assigned to her.

What color was the plate? The new red white and blue bicentennial plates are six digits no spacing.

LOL, my uncle got a malibu. it overheated on the way to vegas

I rented a Malibu once for work and had to drive it in a torrential downpour. I was never more terrified in my life. Every time I hit the brakes or switch lanes, I thought I would hydroplane. After I got home and went back to my GS300, my neck would snap every time I braked because I was so used to slamming those unsensitive Malibu brakes.

I've seen pics of a Florida license plate with "A55 RGY" on it. There's a picture of an orange on the license plate right where the "O" would go.

Jap is a racist word. Jap has been used as a derogatory word since WW2. There are proper ways to abbreviate Japan and Japanese. If one can spell domestic or American which have the same amount of letters, why not Japanese? If you've read any of his comments, they are usually accompanied by rice-eater or something of that sort. So yes, even in context they are racist.
