i hope this is true supercar need for speed like nfs hot pursuit. underground absolutely sucked. anybody who didn't know anything about cars would appreciate it...but peolpe who do find it a joke. gran turismo 4 is still best... downloading now :)

played the demo, it's a nice arcade style racer. AI cops can be pretty tough if they slow u down enough. Graphics are nice too, it has that sorta washed out HDR look :) The really gives u an intense feeling of speed, and it's one of the few EA games that i enjoy. :p

If that's what you don't like then don't bother... it's just like underground... mixed with hot pursuit.

very annoying. Everytime I try and extact the zip file my pc locks up. any suggestion?

Edit: Fixed it...my cpu was overheating.

Anyway its pretty nice. the sound for the mustang is pretty sweet. sounds pretty realistic.

Forza and GT4 are the best of the genre for now at least IMO. Although i have a feeling that PG3 will top them both and bring something revolutionary(at least until GT5 that is). :D

I was playing around with the demo. AWESOME game, I love the whole pursuit feature from back in the olden NFS games, and I love the supercars in the game. I'll be buying this on release. :D

I miss the sanity and non-riceness of the NFS: PU. It just all went to hell with the Hot Pursuit 2 and the crap driving model and then went to complete trash with the ricetastic Underground Series.

So is the driving model more like PU, or is it more arcadish?

I'd say it's more like NFS:High stakes with a dose of NFS:U. It's really entertaining with cop pursuits and destroyable cars. Very nice gfx too. Overall I would say it seems that it will be much better than the NFS:U series imo.

Can't wait to try this one. Looks like a good racing game for the PC, finally. I just wish I could buy another one of these Ultraracer controllers. These things are the best for racing, but mine's broken and it seems they're not being made any more.

Challenge mode is friggin awesome. Too bad you can't choose which car in challenge mode.

RUNNING FROM THE PIGS IS AWESOME.:)

What kind of system requirements are there for the demo? How would it run on a XP-M @ 2.5Ghz, 1GB RAM, and a 9800 Pro?
