At default speeds, the normal POST beep comes from the internal PC speaker. I OC'd the proc to the speed I had it at on the 8RDA+ that previously occupied the system - 2.2GHz. It's an XP2100+ Tbred B processor. Now the beep is routed through the main speakers - it's fairly loud too.
The only option I saw in the BIOS for the audio is to enable/disable the nForce2 audio. There's nothing there about the POST beep. Why'd it change when I overclocked the processor?
