nForce4 -- What driver????

Well, now that I am going for a nForce4 Ultra mobo, I am researching the drivers and the Unified 5.10 driver does not support the nForce4 Ultra, but this is the latest available driver on the nVidia website. Ok....so what driver am I supposed to use?

Cute. Except I almost never do that. Neither does anyone else who knows to keep their drivers up to date. So, the driver will be mobo specific? Is the nForce4 driver a "un-unified" type or something?

best bet is always on the motherboard's manufacturer website.Look for the drivers, bios etc. downloads

Everyone is waiting on nVidia to release a unified driver for the NF4 based boards. The drivers on the cd aren't even listed on the nVidia site. 😉

Thanks FastEddie. I thought so. Basically, everyone is using BETA drivers right now for the nForce4 it appears. No biggie, but a little annoying since nVidia has certainly had time to get their unified driver out the door. Perhaps they are waiting on more feedback from end-users and incorporating bug fixes? Or maybe Microsoft WHQL Certification is holding them up. Shrug.
