nForce4 Driver 8.12

nForce drivers are a joke anymore. The last set released for NF2 and NF3, officially, was last September. NVidia doesn't get any more of my money. I'll be going with SiS or ULi next time around.

whoa, you mean that a commercial company cannot afford to keep supporting legacy products forever and ever, whoa!

Well, in NVIDIA\ATi\Intel's eyes, the nForce3 and all other AGP mobo's are considered legacy. It's a bunch of crap, but it's what we have to deal with. FWIW, I've been using the nForce4 6.66 set since it came out on my nForce3, and it's working just peachy. So, nForce3 users can still get a driver upgrade 😉 .

That's fine. But NVidia is still officially supporting very old GPU hardware in their latest video driver updates. I mean all the way back to the original GeForce, and those cards were PCI and AGP.

Now honestly, I really don't care much about driver updates for NF3 boards anymore. I have my own remix that works great so I'm set for the near future. And when I go PCI-e it'll be with an SiS or ULi based mobo. The AT previews for those chipsets were awesome. I'm just waiting for a Tier 1 manu. to put a high end board out.

IIRC, they're only supporting GeForce2 and up now.

The 64 bit version now up at guru3d.com is the first set that has been stable for my A8N-E while using SATA-RAID in XP-64.
