(The sale of my nforce2 board, 760mpx board, barton 2500, mp1200's, and associated RAM should be almost enough for a dual sledgehammer rig, which I assume the NF3 is for...)

I like the fact that it feature 3 IDE connectors. For video editing, it helps since SCSI is expensive for me.

It would be nice if they include 64 bit PCI slots on nforce3 motherboards. If not, I will pass that one.

I wouldn't touch the Opteron for non-server use...pick up an Athlon 64 DT in Sept. Oh yeah 😀

If it performs, i would pick up the a 64, but opteron is a major success.

For gaming (my main focus by far), the Opteron 1.8ghz is not likely to reach the 2600+ level. Although I admit to having next to no idea why this is 🙂
