nForce3 250GB+Matrox G450=Blue?

I tried to swap a Via K8T800 based board that I'm sending in for repair with an Epox 8KDA3J which has an nForce3 chipset. Everything goes fine until I try to install the videocard drivers. At which point if I install them normally, the system resets in the middle of the process. If I install them in safe mode, I get a blue screen with a message blaming the video card drivers. The motherboard drivers are the latest available, and I've tried three different sets of videocard drivers, and a fresh install of Win2k. No dice.

Everything else is fine otherwise.

Did you completely uninstall the Via drivers prior to installing the nForce drivers (or do a format/reinstall of windows)? It sounds like a GART conflict to me.
