im thinking of upgrading my computer this summer, and i know i will probably be getting a nforce2 based motherboard

i was just wondering how good the sound quality is on the integrated audio.

also, on the ASUS A7N8X Deluxe, it has dual net
are 2 NIC ports useful at all?

finally, what is the minimum power supply that should be used?
i already have 2 hard drives, a dvd drive and a cd-rw that i plan on putting in. also a geforce 4 vivo video card. would 350w be good enough?

A quality 350w PSU like Antec, Enermax will be fine. As to the audio, if it isn't an AT FAQs it should be as often as it's asked! 😉
 
I can't testify as to the quality of the ASUS onboard sound but I have an Epox 8RDA+ with the MCP2-T and I really enjoy the onboard sound. Prior to using the onboard sound I had been a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz for 2 years so this is saying alot for the nForce2 APU.
 
I use the Audigy 2, but the onboard sound is pretty good. The two LANS are usefull to me because I hook up internet through one and my other computer is networked to the other.
