nforce2 mobos have agp/pci locks? since when?
on my second PC (AMD2800+) that mainly used for A/V recording and editing.
I have found myself getting my feet wet within the world of overclocking. So far i everything is good pretty smooth. (thanks to this forum!)
Anyway im running a Asus A7N8X-X mobo paired up with PC3200, and an Barton 2800 333fsb. Upuntil a half hour ago i had no idea that this board had a working PCI lock. (it was mention in a few other forums when i was googling around about it) But i havent found any Reviews about nForce2 mobo having this feature.
My method of OCing has been by adjusting the multiplier and running the FSB at 200.
I have seen the AGP settings in the bios but i had no idea that that effected the PCI bus also.
So if i set the AGP setting in the BIOS to 66 does that inturn lock the PCI at 33?
Is there anyway to check this when in Windows|?
i feel like such a newB when it comes to this OC stuff...
