Does it matter what two slots I stick my dimms into to utilize the dual channel?

Thanks

For dual channel:

Dimm #1 - DDR
Dimm #2 - Empty
Dimm #3 - DDR

or

Dimm #1 - DDR
Dimm #2 - DDR
Dimm #3 - Empty

or

Dimm #1 - DDR
Dimm #2 - DDR
Dimm #3 - DDR

:)

Or to expand on that slightly :)

To emphasise the spacing between the slots on some boards :) Other than that, Insane3D is totally correct :)

DC works on my NF7-S with slots 1+3 or 2+3 occupied, but the former nets slightly better performance. Might be different with your system, so check it out with benchies.

my A7N8X Deluxe with slots 1 & 3. Though I think you are spose to use 2 & 3 becuase they are color coded. 2 & 3 are both blue while 1 is black. I works fine for me though.
