I don't know about you guys but I have been dying to get my hands on an nForce board. I was hoping it would be released sometime during the second half of august (thats when school starts!!)

but for some reason there seems to be a drought of news regarding the chipset at this pt. Any idea whats happening people??

Do a search in the forums and in the web news section (esp about a week ago - big news around then), and you'll find out all you want/need about nForce, and, next time, search before you post.

Well actually squibby I did run a search before I posted. Didn't find anything I didn't already know about especially since all the information regarding release dates is soo conflicting. Hey but thanks Yu22 that gives me a more realistic date to expect the release then I had previously anticipated.

Yeah, I'm dying to see this board in action, if it can live up to anything then I'll probably go with it for next system, (no need for the 4-in-1s anymore!) otherwise I'm just going to go with an Epox 8K7A. I too thought that they would be released around late August, but yeah truth is, the earliest we'll see them is around late September.

I am hoping that we see a preview on this board soon, maybe this week?

Rumor had it that reviews might be up around this time and it will come out in September.
