I suggest you use Driver Cleaner before installing the new UDP. Foolproof process:Originally posted by: RaymondYAny suggestions??? Recommendations???
1. Download and install Driver Cleaner. You can get it from driverheaven.net.
2. Uninstall the video card drivers. Don't reboot.
3. Uninstall the previous UDP. Reboot into safe mode.
4. Run Driver Cleaner and Cab Cleaner (it's part of Driver Cleaner).
5. Unplug the network cable from your computer (if you have an always-on connection).
6. Boot into windows and cancel out of all autodetect attempts.
7. Install the new UDP. Reboot.
8. Install the video card drivers. Reboot.
9. Plug in your network cable if you disconnected it in step 5.
Play some games or whatever you do with your computer.
