Nforce Standalone vs Unified

What's the difference between the NForce Standalone drivers and the Unified drivers?

Good question, I'd like to know the answer to this as well.

I tried the standalone and some of the drivers were more current than the latest unified. Hopefullt someone will know the difference. Not getting my hopes up since Nocturnal, a Lifer, does not know.

Where can you get standalones versus unified?

Ah ha- Here are the standalone drivers, but it does say they are for Nforce4, although I'm using them on my Nforce3 board.

I'm thinking the stand alone is actually just for the nForce 4 boards. Like I was saying in another thread basically I tried the unified only to see the setup fail.
