Nforce four?

look around the forum and you will find 500+ topics on everything you are looking for. god gave the forums a gift: the search button. 🙂

.....there's really no other nForce4 than the one for AMD. (the one supposedly comming for Intel will be named nForce5, if the rumors hold true)
A64 socket 754 runs single channel (actually 64-bit memory controller), A64 socket 939 and 940 runs dual channel (128-bit). The chipset doesn't affect this since the memory controller is on-die on A64.
nForce4 is nVidias PCIe chipset for A64, and SLI is a opportunity for running two videocards together increasing speed.

You don't have a clue about much.
I'll have to give it to you though... You have posted some of the most stupid questions I've seen here.

we were all once like that..... you only learn by asking questions........

Not saying your wrong or anything, as I haven't even heard that yet. But man I can't believe AMD would like that very much. That would automatically, in the eyes of the stupid consumer, make the Intel version better thenthe AMD version, just because ist a bigger number.

you're cool.

try the motherboard forum. you'll see about 15 threads about it on the front page.

when people don't know the information or mechanics of a particular subject area that is called ignorant

when people act and behave in a inmature way that is called stupid

I believe what you are referring to has more to do with motherboards than it does cpu's

"I can get CAS latency 2.5 for 150$. (1 GB crosair) I can get 1 GB 2.0 CAs latency (Corsair XMS) for 200$. I cant go to BIOS,(store bought) so i cant change the latencys. 2 Q's
1. Will my MSI MS-6741 MOBO dectect the right CAS latency?
2. does the extra .5 CAS latency make a noticable difference to warrent an extra 50$"
Sounds like a reasonable request, so other members reply to try and help. 😱
Consensus... The lower latency isn't worth the extra cost in your situation.

phantomracoon:
"im gonna get the CAS 2 one anyways. It has a better name."

phantomracoon:
"if i get corsair Ram 1 GB (512 x2) are they the sm stks?"
