Nforce compatibility

Can I use an ATI card with an Nforce4 MB? I'm putting together a machine for the first time, and didn't realize until I read these forums that there's a possible compatibility issue.

Yes, I know that NVidia makes Nforce, and they obviously stand to gain by making it incompatible with ATI cards, but I honestly don't know how this works.

I've searched for an answer to this question, but found only one thread with conflicting answers. One person said no, one person said yes. Thanks.

Yes, you can, and no they don't stand to gain by doing that man...

They've done the right thing by allowing ATI cards to run in their boards. They would lose a lot of customers if ATI cards were not supported.

It'll work fine.
