NForce 980A - It's Official

It's on Nvidia's website

http://www.nvidia.com/object/p...force_980a_sli_us.html

and you can download drivers for it,

but I haven't seen any officially announced boards or an ETA on when they will be released?

It must be a combination of the economy and the probably slowing or stalled sales of AMD motherboards.

I thought Phenom ][ would have had a bigger push from nVidia but apparently not.

sonoma1993 sli-ready memory has been around for a while, it really has nothing to do with sli, its just memory that has standard overclocks (non jdec) so if you have that memory and a board you can just use one of those settings instead of setting everything manually (it will have a few settings with timings and voltages that won't impact your warranty)
