Does it exist? I dont need integrated VGA, and I dont want anything but Nforce Audio and Nforce LAN.

What I do need is:

At least 4 Channel Surround
Some sort of digital out=optical or coaxial
Overclocking abilities

The aforementioned K7N415-Pro. It rocks.

Dolby 5.1 sound, onboard LAN, 6 USB, it even overclocks reasonably. I'm probably going to upgrade my primary rig to this board after seeing how the second machine performs.

Speaking of the sound...... How does it sound? Compareable to the Audigy?

<< Just picked one up. Thanks! >>

Wow, he asked a question about a motherboard, got it answered, and bought the recommended Mobo all in the same evening! That's pretty amazing, I'd say.

Well, I was looking around on my own of course. The MSI just seemed to be the one that fit the bill.

Not to mention I'll make money off it.

Old MB $50, Audigy $50, NIC $10. Nforce $100. $10 in my pocket, and no more via.

I also like the idea of a motherboard that uses the integrated nforce LAN. I mean, why add an external Realtek LAN chip when you've already got that capability built into the chipset? It just doesn't make much sense to me.

As for the MSI board, I'm wondering why they don't make this in a microATX format. I mean, do we really need 5 PCI slots on a board with this much stuff already integrated? I was thinking of building a compact multimedia box to keep by my TV for playing back DIVX videos and such, but I don't think this motherboard would fit in the microATX cases I've been looking at.

BTW, does anyone know how much MSI charges for that TV-out add-in card for the nforce 420D motherboard?
