They may, however in my search for more information I have found info concerning the new Nforce 4 chipset using PCI-X. Anyone have information on when we might see MB's using this? According to what Ive read they say Oct-Dec time frame. I havenot been able to find any detials out. Any help much appriciated :)

Somone from the Marketing team for ABIT says that their Nforce4 board will be out in November. They claim it will be the best gaming/overclocking board ever, but won't give out the details of what they are doing so different.

Yeah, me too. I've been ready to buy for about 6 months, but decided that 939 with PCI-E was worth the wait. I just hope that Nvidia can get the 6800 series out for PCI-E before Nforce4. More importantally, I hope that all of it is out as close to the HL2 release date as possible (whenever that will actually happen).

Nvidia isn't doing a very good job of letting people know when both of these products will be ready. I saw somewhere that the 6800 series will be out for pci-e in the fall sometime and Nforce4 between Q4 '04-Q1 '05.

We could use a Nvidia press release or 2!

Because nonquantifiable claims from a marketing department should always be trusted.

You probably mean PCI-E.
