May not be the cheapest thing in the world or even a hot deal, but the board itself is HOT!!! You can find it cheaper but not from a reputable site.

It was selling for $221 shipped on pricewatch 2 days ago by two vendors. I will wait for it to get that low again.

There's a lot of people waiting for this board and they're very hard to find in stock. So while the price may be high, that certainly doesn't mean it isn't a hot deal.

Just because a lot of people want this product doesn't mean it's hot when it's in stock. Hot deals should be below $200.

BTW - Even if the OP's price isn't that great this is going to be a very hot item and does deserve listing. It's no different than the 6800's and X800's being released at retail and even above retail prices. Worst case move it to the MB's forum.
 
I know about supply and demand. But just because some item is in stock at ripoff prices and is hard to find doesn't make it hot deal. Hot deal on hard to get item is MSRP or slightly below. Case in point: $399 BFG 6800GT PCIe videocard at Chumbo couple of days ago was Hot Deal because it was at MSRP and far below anywhere else. This MB at $279 is obviously not very Hot Deal when someone found it at $200 plus shipping at another site.

I was able to buy BFG 6800GT OC for $300 back in June when it first released and everyone was selling for $600+ and MSRP was $400. Same with BFG 6800 Ultra OC I was able to pick up recently for $389 when MSRP is $500 and still hard to get. Hot Deals on hard to get items exists if you search and this deal obviously isn't Hot by any standard.
 
Not currently in stock, but Buy.com has it listed for $186.99. Good price if you are willing to wait for a re-stock.

Dude read the link you posted yourself most places especially the inexpensive ones, the board is out of stock.
It is in stock at the very reliable Zipzoomfly, for those who are looking for this board within the next week, it's not a bad deal maybe not hot.
