NForce 4 Availability

I would like to have a post (maybe sticky?) for all of us who are waiting for NForce 4, so if anyone finds a place to get them, please post here.

EDIT: Also, shouldnt just be Limited to NForce4 boards, but any 939 PCIe boards, I just expect the NForce4 to be out first.

Thanks in advance,
Mr Jorge.

Great idea!

I really hope that gigabyte comes out first, that it looked awesome in the review here. I'm sure the Asus one will be good too. I guess I just hope the MSI board isn't the first one out of the gate, cause I don't want to have to buy it.

I called Monarch earlier this afternoon. I talked to someone in parts. He stated they were expecting to have a tenative date by now but they are running a little late. Stated within 1-2 weeks will have a concrete date for arrival and sale. Also stated the dual SLI will be priced from $150-$200 and available in mid December. My guess both these board are going to be in stores within a week or two from each other. Especially given how long it took someone like newegg to stock Athlon 64 90nm cpu's.

Thanks anox. I wish they would just hurry up, because I'm guessing the first store to have em is going to make quite a bundle of dough. Maybe AT will give me theirs 🙂.

Well, I just got off the phone with ASUS and MSI. They both said sometime in December 🙁

The people I spoke to did not make a very reliable impression, so maybe we shouldn't give up hope for an earlier release just yet.

God I hope we dont have to wait until December.... maybe I will give Gigabyte a ring, see when they will be offering theirs.

my guess is that monarch will have them first, and at reasonable prices, and then when it realizes how large the demand is, it will up the prices by like $50, until other etailers get some in stock. That's exactly what happened with the 90nm A64 parts, and I bet it will happen again with these. So I guess as soon as you see them in stock, BUY, cause the prices are gonna probably be higher tomorrow....

From what I've seen from these prices (which I have no idea how to convert into US dollars), they don't seem to be priced too much higher than nforce3 equivalents. If you look at the relative prices, it seems likely that the premium for an nForce4 Ultra from an nforce3 Ultra will be sub-$20, which I can definitely live with. I'll tell you what, if I ever see a US site taking pre-orders for the Gigabyte or Asus nforce4 Ultras for $150 or below, I"m signing up ASAP.

Ditto. I bet the starting price for the Ultras will be around or just above 150, which I will pay, just so long as I have my stuff before december 14th.
