nforce 4 AMD drivers

I'm not sure which are good right now....I have my 6.53s installed (no audio or firewall installed, but IDE and whatnot are)

Should I jump to the latest? I had problems with 6.66 and 6.67. Thanks.

I'm using the 6.70s minus audio and NAM with the SMBUS from 6.66. Works great on my EVGA NF4 SLI - I even use SW IDE.

why don't you guys have the audio drivers installed? do you all use another soundcard besides the built in like goregrinder is using?

I used the onboard sound for a long time, but two things made me upgrade to the Audigy 2 ZS.

1. I wanted to reclaim the 10% of lost CPU cycles the onboard sound uses while gaming.

2. Gaming sound quality is up to my standards. Serious Sam 2 sounds like arse on the onboard sound chip with the latest drivers installed from NVidia and Realtek.

I wanted an X-Fi but with Christmas just around the corner I decided to spend the big $$$ on my kids (x3) and got the Audigy used on the forums. It was $50 well spent IMHO.

I'm using 6.66 with everything minus NAM on a H8DCE. NAM gave me corrupt downloads, otherwise everything else is stable.
