Its funny that 3 of these games are rematches and in every case the wild card teams absolutely trounced the division winners. Another thing to note is that the only other teams that won't be rematching had similar results in that the division winning host team (NE) lost their last game and the visiting wild card team won their game.

Makes it really hard to pick, all of these teams are just way too hot and cold / up and down to really get a lock on what to think, I wouldn't be surprised if these rematches have opposite results.

That being said, I think New England matches up best against Baltimore and is the safest pick.

none of it really matters, since the Giants are gonna win the Super Bowl anyways.

Poll complainers: vB doesn't allow multi-question polls. The only thing he could really do is make a different option for each possible combination of winners.

Since I could only pick one due to vb polls, I picked Philly. Yeah, they just got embarrassed in Big D, but I'd be surprised if even the inconsistent Eagles performed this badly in the rematch this week.

As for the others, I choose Arizona over Green Bay, Baltimore over New England (especially with Welker hurt), and reluctantly, Cincinnati over the Jets. I know the Bengals just got shellacked with their starters in most of the time, but come on...you just have to cheer for the Bengals. :D

Dallas - I'm an Eagles fan and wish I could say the Eagles would win, but I just don't see it happening. We were beat so badly yesterday it's not even funny. Dallas showed every weakness of our team. We didn't even beat a single playoff team in the regular season.

Green Bay - I've never thought very highly of Arizona.

New England - I'd like to say Baltimore, but they just don't have the offense to keep up with New England. Maybe Welker missing will give them a shot.

Cincinnati - Rookie QB + playoffs is typically not a good combo. Jets running game may be able to carry them.

I'm a Dallas fan but I have to disagree. They knew the Vikings won, and therefore had no way to get the second seed. Philly had nothing to win except the NFC East and still would have had to play Dallas again. I have a gut feeling that once Philly got behind, it no longer mattered and they didn't want to show Dallas all their plans. Philly will Blitz the hell out of Romo this coming week, and with Dallas only having basically two receivers (Whitten and Austin), you aren't going to see the same game as you did on Sunday.

As long as Cincinnati loses at some point before they make it to the super bowl i'll be a happy camper.

The Eagles would have had the #2 seed and a first week bye if they won.

I think the eagles will win. They have a knack for turning it up in the playoffs (until the NFC championship game). The cowboys have a knack for doing just the opposite.

That is what I get for listening to the Commentators at half time. I swear I heard them say several times that with the Minnesota's win and Greenbay's win, Dallas and Philly would play next weekend regardless.

I am a NE fan, so I want to see Brady and Co play against the odds.....but as a football fan, I'd love to see Colts Vs Chargers.....part of me think that the Colts will get run over, though.

No, I watched the game too, and they never said anything like this. Since Minnesota ended up 12-4, if Philly won that last game, they would also be 12-4 and would win the #2 seed and a first-round bye by the virtue of tie-breakers, and they would be a #6 seed with a loss and GB win (and GB had won by that time).

I hope so, but as an Eagles fan, I highly doubt it. I don't think Andy Reid is that crafty, and that game was just embarrassing. If he was throwing in the towel in order to keep his tricks secret, why were the starters still in the game?

sitting the starters would have opened up a whole can of worms that no team needs right before the playoffs. it wouldn't be like the colts or bengals cause the eagles still had something to play for in that game.

Ravens (Brady banged up and welker is out with torn knee)
Jets (Ochi injured, might notbe 100%, jets defense should destroy them)
Dallas (Because I hate Dallas less than Eagles and Ware/spencer are performing for a change)
Arizona (Warner ...that's all)

If Dallas runs the ball 100+ yards a game, you only need two reliable receivers. Phili gets shut down if you take away their deep threats. So you need a fast secondary and a good pass rush, and Phili is usually shit.
