So Chucky's back is he?

Um, what? Chiefs o-line hasn't been stellar, but there's tons of evidence of Smith just shitting himself when he's not under actual pressure or decides to basically just move into the pressure instead of avoiding it. And the 49ers had a pretty damn good line when Alex had his "good" playing there.
I don't think you understand what I'm saying. I'd take Alex over a Brady with a bad O-Line. That's it, nothing more. I've seen Brady in the past few weeks, and parts of last year just fall down and take a sack. It's not a knock on Brady, it's just he's getting older.

No, I understood, I think you're just crazy wrong. I didn't take it as a knock on Brady (he's never been terribly mobile, he's old, and its been established that getting pressure on Brady is the way to beat him and the Pats - although you have to also be covering well too or they'll burn your ass still), but that you have no idea what you're talking about with regards to Alex Smith. Alex has done shit like that himself regularly, except he often does it when his protection is adequate, he just stops looking downfield and then tucks and takes a sack. I'd take Brady over Alex Smith in basically every conceivable football situation. Not quite the same, but exactly one of the things I'm talking about here. He didn't have to move and would've avoided pressure. Nope, let's shit our pants, stop looking downfield for a receiver and run right the fuck into it. Vintage Alex Smith.

Ok, you win

Aww, I wanted to provide more. The thing is, Smith actually did improve (hell he played great in several games this year, and was playing good in the first half against the Titans, and the loss certainly isn't all on him, but plays like the one I linked to before seem to happen when the team critically needs him to take the team on his back), as he finally started running instead of just tucking and going fetal into the defense like he was doing far too often. Unfortunately he often also would tuck and run when he didn't need to and far too many of those instances he'd run right into the pressure.

Chiefs fans have a lot to look forward to though:
