Another controversial call that goes in the Pats favor, Taylor lobs a perfect fade to his TE who, (it appeared), caught it for a TD. Play was ruled a TD on the field, after another eternal review it gets overturned and Bills kick the FG. Game tied 13 all at half. Patriots look a bit flat after the emotional win at Pitt last week plus excellent game plan by Mcdermet has kept Brady off-balance the whole game.
What was the first "controversial" call the "went" the Pats way? Do you mean the call last week? If so, it was called correctly and 100 times out of 100 would be called the same way. And I wasn't in favor of overturning that call this week. But, there is a specific angle that shows the receiver with his leg off the ground right as he gets possession. So it was called correctly. For those in-the-know, the debate seems to be centered not on whether it was called correctly, but should there be that level of analysis (frame by frame) when making those calls. I think the focus should be on getting the call correct since we already have instant replay.
