Smith, Manningham, and Boss were actually good this year , it was their running game that sucked. Jacobs did not perform and Bradshaw is not built for punishment. The O-line started to also show wear and tare in the later games.

Giants defensive line was absolutely horrible this year and gave every QB in the world time to slice the heck out of the giants secondary. After Giants lost their pro-ball safety Phillips early this year they also had a huge hole in their secondary. Their line backers are also banged up and slow for cover schemes and blitzes. These line backers don't have long careers and for some reason their GM thought they could extend their useful life. It's hard for an offense to keep momentium when the D is letting others walk down the field.

The D-Line will get better when healed. They still need a #1 WR. Plax is a moron but is a darn good WR.

It wasn't that great, it wasn't even a "hit" that took it out. He had the thing until the D moved his arm around inside.

1. He should never have been able to get in like that.

2. Even if he did wrap AP up like that, AP should have been holding the ball correctly.

It's his #1 problem, he holds the ball like shit trying to reach for another yard.

Watch the replay again, it was a nice hit of the ball to pop out. That ball was hit dead on.

I did watch the replay, it wasn't hit "head on" the first it, nor the second, it was more of a crowbar move once he got inside. Had AP been holding the ball properly it wouldn't have popped.

that was not AP, that was hunter hillenmeyer making an excellent play. AP had that ball tucked, he wasn't extending it for the extra yard, all hillenmeyer did was slip his arm through and pop it out. great play by hillenmeyer, bad luck for AP and the vikes.
