Oh well. Now I can console myself with the "sometimes a team needs to lose one to get their minds right for the playoffs" argument.

I left the game thinking the Saints are more of a Super Bowl contender than I had expected. To be down 24-3 and come back like that, where they were stomping all over Dallas and you almost expected them to win, is what is going to carry through to the playoffs.

as bad as it was to see the saints lose, no way in hell can wade not can the kicker on the plane ride back.

yeah srsly i dont know how nick folk hasnt already been CANNED. i hate the cowboys so i find it amusing but lol youre def not going to make it far without a kicker that can make a 25 yarder. lol.

One team left to stop.

It all depends on the coach at this point -- we'll see how much your hero Manning actually plays the last two games. The Colts should win them, but anything can happen on any given Sunday and the last game at Buffalo might be REALLY ugly. So you can't take it for granted that they will win those games, though they will likely win them as long as everyone plays.

I left thinking the complete opposite. The playoffs are more about defense, running the ball, physical game. That happens to be their weak points. They have a dismal o-line and secondary. They are a scary team but not superbowl contenders. I think a team like Minnesota is more likely the NFC champs. I'm from Texas so I have no hard on for Vikings.
