Where are all the people complaining about OT rules? I thought Washington got the ball first......

Oh wait, the Saints defense didn't choke the game away in OT.

Judging by the Saints performance against the Redskins, there is no way they will get into the Superbowl without home field advantage. Especially against a team like Minnesota.

Saints were given that game. I don't think he fumbled in OT, his forearm was clearly down and it WASN'T clear if the ball had started out before that. Should not have been overturned.

The Saints didn't beat the Rams by much either, I think they are slowly being exposed. It seems like defenses are just intimidated by the Saints O, and I've seen some of the dumbest blown coverages that never happen, but are given to the Saints.

Terrible missed call - that was PI on Williams.

Nice to see the Pats go down :)

Statistics and logic indicate that the the NFL's overtime rules are less than ideal.

Your response to that is a single game between an undefeated team and a 3-9 team.

/facepalm

Did you miss last week's slaughter of the Patriots?

The Saints receivers got wide open deep because the safeties (especially Landry) were majorly overplaying the run. You figure Brees would go to the air and shred a team that did that, but the Washington defensive line deserves all the credit for being able to pressure Brees throughout -- and they never wore out, unlike just about every other defense has against the Saints in the 3rd/4th quarter this year. Plus Washington controlled the line of scrimmage offensively as well, there was *no* pass rush on Campbell.

As far as being exposed, yeah, the Saints have a big problem -- their top 2 or 3 corners are on the shelf, the secondary has been held together by duct tape for 4-5 weeks now. The defense just overwhelmed the Patriots with homefield adrenaline and emotion last week.

Given those ongoing injuries, I expected them to lose by now. What saved them these last several games was a pretty soft schedule. Overall they haven't been a dominating road team, they've played 6 road games and struggled in 3 or 4 of them. Depending on Matt Ryan's status for next week at Atlanta, they could be in trouble.
