Brady is just eating this Indy secondary alive. Shit, outside of Welker and Moss the rest of the Pat's WRs are just scrubs.

Vollmer has looked great. Shit, I remember when he was drafted in the 2nd round everyone said that the pick was a reach.

I was going to mention about Vollmer. Why are some teams good year after year? They consistently find good players in rounds 2-5.
Vollmer played really well in preseason. The only thing I worried about was his speed at 6-7 312. He is containing the speedy Freeney, though.

i wish they'd always leave up the play clock, instead of just in the last few seconds of it.

The Saints pull off another ugly win. Injuries are really taking a toll on our D.
Injuries just became a serious problem, and national media/fans aren't going to pick up on it until the Saints lose, which is going to be soon if some players don't get healthy quick. 3/4 of the secondary was out of commission with today's game, the team just took a giant step back toward 2008. They were *significantly* worse in stopping the run and the pass today, against the Rams. The achilles heel secondary is back in effect. I think STL could have won that game if they'd had anybody to give Steven Jackson some rest and keep him from being completely exhausted by crunch time.

The Saints' defense has fed directly into their success. They've been good enough this year (actually great at generating turnovers), to get the offense back on the field, where they've physically worn down most opposing defenses by the 3rd/4th quarter, and gone on to run the ball down people's throats from there.

I didn't see any of that today. It's kinda shocking to me how much the loss of those 3 guys in the secondary affected the team on both sides of the ball. They're going to look a lot more mortal until and unless that gets fixed.
