Last year they said the chargers were the best 9-7 team not to go to playoffs. GO CHARGERS! seriously, pittsburgh is done.

The matter of the fact is that they are 2-6, and they didn't get cheated out of any of those games. They are giving the ball away like idiots, and that's part of the game. Heck, the Pats would have won yesterday if it wasn't for the stupid turnovers.

Now stop talking about how they are so talented and capable of beating every team. They are what they are, a 2-6 team who can't protect the ball.

Agreed.

The only reason the Steelers are bad is because Big Ben has been exposed to be the fraud that he really is. The only way for a team to succeed with Big Ben is to make him play in a system with better players around him. This year they are actually having him throw the ball 30, 40, 50 times a game, and he's simply not that good of a quarterback.

So you're saying the Steelers are who you thought they were? ;)

I'm still surprised that Roethlisberger is the most hated QB in the league (not by other players, just by the public). No one ever said he was the best QB in the league, but he was playing well enough to get them to the Superbowl. Doesn't matter how good the team is, you need a good QB to at least keep things moving. He played very consistent for the first two years. As a rookie he would just keep going 17 for 20, 19 for 22 the next week, and 18 for 20 the next, and most importantly, not throwing up many interceptions.

The Steelers are 2-6 because of individual mistakes, that's no excuse, but i still feel that they are a top 15 team.

They lost to the RAIDERS for crying out loud.

And the bears lost to the Dolphins.... Good teams aren't allowed to lose to bad teams?

But the Dolphins are better than their record indicates. They get caught on the short end of the stick most of the times.
:p

The Bears were bound to lose. Grossman doesn't have it in him to be a stellar QB for 16 games.

hes still young

2-6 is nothing...

The 1976 Tampa Bay Bucs are still the best 0-14 team of all time! How proud they must be. :p

For all the close games they've had, with the massive number of turnovers, it is obvious they have potential.

Take away 1 turnover a game and the steelers are 5 and 3 easily

The raiders? They got down in range many times, and simply gave the ball away. Raiders returned long turnovers for TD's, that game was a joke lol

With a few minor adjustments steelers could win the rest of the games, but it really doesnt matter.

No love for the Steelers though, understandable. I really think they are an above 500 team though. They could finish the year over .500 and i wouldn't be surprised. Turnovers are just killing them. Again, they deserve to be 2-6. They are a top 15 team though, in my opinon of course. I'm in Arizona, so not having an NFL team I've always had other favorite NFL teams.

Still trying to figure out if this is tongue-in-cheek or not....judging by the level of thought put into the OP, I'd say no.

They are probably not the best 2-6 team ever and DEFINITELY not the best 2-5 team ever. The patriots were 2-5 and went on to win the super bowl a few years ago.

I've never been much of a Cardinals fan for obvious reasons. Before the season i was pretty excited about this year, but, you know what happened.

People are still acting like I'm saying Pittsburgh is the best team in the league. It's pretty obvious I'm not saying that. Saying they might be the best 2-6 team ever isn't a huge claim. I don't feel I have to explain, just read the thread.
