The Niners have 10 picks on day 1. I'm expecting them to trade up with the Redskins to pick up Branch or Okoye. If they stay put, I'd just hope for Willis.

But my pick for the star of this draft class is Marshawn Lynch. I actually wish the Niners hadn't resigned Gore so they could pick up Lynch.

Come on. Gore has shown he can do it and do it well on the NFL level. There have been too many outstanding college players who fizzled in the NFL. As a Giants fan I remember a guy named Ron Dayne and a guy named Tyrone Wheatley.

Quinn will be a bust

I think he will take a year or two to mature, but I don't think he'll be the next Kyle Boller or Rex Grossman. Jamarcus Russel should be fun to watch.

I'm sensing Ryan Leaf, but im a cynic

Same for me. I think you'd have to be high to take Quinn over Russell. I wouldn't even draft Quinn in the 1st round.

I think you guys are too skeptical of him, but we'll see. I don't care if he flames out. One way or another, he'll go in the top 10, get more money than I'll make in my life, and if he craps out, that's that much less competition for my team to deal with.

He'll go top 10 but if he goes to a team w/ a bad O-line, expect horrendous numbers. He can throw accurate passes if he has the time, but if you rush him, its over. Russell all the way

#1 Hasn't proven that he can go more than one season healthy.
#2 Already had surgery on both knees.
#3 Racked up a lot of his yards in the 4th quarter.
#4 Doesn't protect the ball well.
#5 Seems to be missing some top end speed.
#6 Hasn't gone into a season as the starter. This is big, as lots of guys like Larry Johnson and Jones-Drew come out of nowhere part way into a season and put up insane numbers that project out to 2,000 yard seasons the next year and it never works out like that, presumeably because coaching staffs use the off season to get their numbers.

Lynch is my prototype running back. Tough and shifty. Reminds me a lot of Brian Westbrook who is a seriously underrated back. He'll get his 5 yards and he'll get it consistently and without getting too banged up.

No doubt what Gore did last year was impressive. He's got a great attitude, wants to win, and runs with a lot of energy.....I just don't know for how long he'll manage to be productive and I hate missing out on a back like Lynch who has the kind of vision and shiftiness you can't coach into a guy and that comes along only every few years.

It's pointless as he's our man for better or worse.

Ordering my flight to Dallas to watch my Eagles kick the crap out of the Cowgirls as we speak....

How did you like that 63-yd FG last year?

I guess that's the lone brightspot for the TB

I wouldn't even say that. Last year was an embarrassment even for some of the bad TB teams of days past.

The Bucs' defense got old very fast. Gruden has done nothing to develop young players and 2 more defensive starters may be gone before the start of the season.

I hope the Bucs move down a few spots to go defense and get another pick on the first day.

So, who is going to post their ATOT NFL predictions??

Which ones? SB matchups? Playoff matchups? Number of games the Lions will lose?

The Lions will go 2-14. It's destiny:

2001 - 2-14
2002 - 3-13
2003 - 5-11
2004 - 6-10
2005 - 5-11
2006 - 3-13

2007 = 2-14

F you, Lions! How can you be THIS BAD with a salary cap and free agency?

FIRE MILLEN
