So you're creating a website but yet you don't feel like inputting the game info yourself for a season that doesn't start until a few months from now (counting pre-season)? Sounds like a winner of a site you got going there.Originally posted by: joejld1
Hi,
I've been searching for the NFL Schedule in XML, or delimited format. Is one available anywhere?
I'm creating a website and I need the schedule but I don't feel like manually inputing each game
Thanks

0/5 stars for your site
You must not be familiar with the word 'tardiness'.Originally posted by: joejld1
Wow, your so good at being a tard.
5/5 for your "tardiness"
You have months to do this. There are 32 teams. 16 regular season games. Here's a start: NFL schedule.Originally posted by: joejld1
Oh great, thanks for the definition. I thought this was a tard:
'tardiness'
Maybe my "laziness" means that I would like to automate the input of this schedule yearly. I guess that's what you call laziness, rather than being efficient.
Thanks again

It really sounds like you don't want to put a lot of effort into this site of yours. If you don't want to put effort into it, why would somebody want to use your site knowing you're looking for the easy way to do things?
OK. Now you're putting that link to use. You were using the term wrong but I overlooked that since it was obvious you didn't have the ability to click on the term I provided you for 'tardiness'. I was trying to forgive you for your shortcomings.Originally posted by: joejld1

Thanks for link and your input SmoochyTX, but I disagree about your comment about my effort. If a parseable file is available out there, maybe provided by the league, wouldn't it be nice to offload some of that work by automating the process?
I'm currently starting out with the NFL, but I'm planning to do the same with all the other leagues. Automating it will offload alot of that work.

You posted about the NFL. NFL stands for National Football League. Posting about the NFL means you're probably referring to what is called football in the United States. I'm not sure if you're aware of this but American football is different from football in many countries. The shape of the ball is different as a start.
But back to American football. There are two divisions in the NFL. The AFC (American Football Conference) and the NFC (National Fooball Conference). They're not referred to as 'leagues'. They're the AFC and the NFC or just conferences if you're one of those weirdos that does that but it's definitely not leagues. There is only one league of real football in America and that's the NFL.
If you mean that you're wanting to consolidate soccer and the CFL and the NFL, then that only means more work for you. Honestly, I don't think you're up for the job. Perhaps you should look into a partner for your site. Maybe one that knows about football, er, the NFL?
