Another vote for Ben. He may not make the highlight reels as often as Manning and Brady, but he knows what it takes to win football games, and that's what it comes down to in the end.

There's no way you can talk about Ben in the same light as Manning and Brady... you just can't... First of all Brady has won way more football games than Ben, so that alone trumps your "he just wins baby" argument...

And Peyton Manning... for god's sake he is one of the best QBs to ever play the game. It's just ridiculous to put Ben in that same conversation. I think Ben is a great QB don't get me wrong... but he's not Manning/Brady level.

Well, I can and will.

Yeah you're right. Manning isn't in the same level, b/c Big Ben has two rings & Peyton Manning has 1.

Are you retarded? Based on your logic, Trent Dilfer was a better QB than Dan Marino. 1 ring > no rings

Peyton Manning had a very slow first 6 games last year before coming back to form due to a slight knee injury. Tom Brady had a more horrific knee injury than Manning did and missed an entire season to boot. In fact, someone at patsfans.com showed that both QB's had similar numbers for the 1st 5 weeks after coming off an injured knee. It'll be interesting to see if the outburst against the Titans was a blip or Tom is finally back. Although it was against the Titans, to put up those numbers in a snowy storm is pretty impressive.

I agree. It was definitely impressive, even against the Titans.

He said "you can't say this"
Well, guess what, I can.

I'm not trying to change your mind. You're not changing mine. Get over it.

The facts are, Brady has three rings, Ben has two rings, Peyton has 1 and Dan Marino has zero.

You can infer whatever you want out of what I typed. I'm not saying "you can't" which was my rub with Douche Baggins up there.

I guess in your pantheon of great QBs, Trent Dilfer, Doug Williams, Jeff Hostetler, Mark Rypien, and Brad Johnson rank just below Big Ben and ahead of "scrubs" like Kelly, Marino, Moon, and Tarkenton and are equal to the likes of Favre and the Mannings.

"The facts are" that Manning has 3 NFL MVPs, Brady has 1 NFL MVP, and Roethlisberger has none. "The facts are" that Brady has 2 SB MVPs, Manning has 1 SB MVP, and Ben has none. Not to mention all the NFL passing records Manning owns (or will own) when he is done.

Roethlisraper is overrated. He'll have a decent game then go out next game and throw 3 interceptions. He's not very consistent.

He's been very consistent this season and he has a ring. Name me 5 better QBs in the league right now.

Drew Brees
Philip Rivers
Peyton Manning
Tom Brady
Carson Palmer

That was easy.

Now the real honors. Obviously you don't watch much college football. Pike from Cincinnati is probably the best professional prospect in college football right now (if he can stay healthy). Also, Philip Rivers should probably be put in the Crafty Vet category. He's not really a new guy anymore. Peyton Manning is an old timer.

Soon to be NFLers:
Tony Pike

New Crop:
Matt Ryan

Crafty Vets:
Carson Palmer - No QB means more to their team than Carson Palmer
Peyton Manning (if I have to use your categories)

Old Timers:
Peyton Manning (He's on his way down and no longer peaking)
Brett Favre (If you force me to use your choices)

Manning is on his way down? Are you fucking high. He is having the best statistical season of his career and the Colts are undefeated.

Please learn what football is and then get back to us.

And we're not saying that because we're Colts fans and Indy residents, either. 🙂

No never, even though I haven't lived in Indy for two years.

Anybody who can't admit that Peyton is having an incredible year AND that he's one of the best of all time needs to remove their partisan blinders. Shit, I hate the guy when he plays the Pats, but that's because he's an incredible QB who can single-handedly win games.

Actually, no. 2004 was statistically his best season ever and he's on pace for the third highest interception total of his career.

I would still take Peyton Manning over any other QB in the league right now, I just think that (after having watched him play a couple of games) he doesn't seem as crisp or have the swagger that he's had in years past. His numbers will tail off as the season progresses. Stats are often inflated early in the season. Elvis Dumervil is on pace for 32 sacks. Adrian Peterson and Chris Johnson are on track to getting 2000+ yards. Hines Ward should also come close. Matt Schaub just might get to 5000 passing yards. You can't pass judgement on ANYONE five or six games into the season, especially based on stats that can be inflated or deflated so easily by one good or bad game.

Actually, looking at Indy's schedule, the only worth opponents are the Pats, Ravens (debateable), and Broncos... talk about a cream puff schedule :Q

So in your retarded little world, players are judged by how many super bowl rings they have? Why don't you tell us what Rapistburgers QB rating was in his first super bowl?

I'm curious, how in the world can you exclude Joe Flacco from the "New Crop?"
