NFL persuades FOX to pull GoDaddy.com commercial

Wouldn't be the first - the NFL made Bud pull a commercial where a guy opened his beer on Janet Jackson's wardrobe from last year. He ripped the boob and "put it back" with tape. (It's on their website) It was absolutely hilarious.

What the hell is wrong with this country??

Nothing, this is the way the Religious Radical Right wants it and happy about it.

Shirley you must be happy too.

You can see the "made for tv" ad where they had to cut the words "wardrobe malfunction", and the real ad, here:

sorry, fusetalk doesn't support "normal" BB tags, you have to use the bastardized equivalent.

Haha thanks, fixed it. 🙂

As long as it's not the government doing the censorship. I fully support the right of private organizations to project the image they choose, be it wholesome or bawdy.

Although it is somewhat humorous that the NFL would enter an agreement with a network of Fox's reputation if they are so concerned about outclassing pro-wrestling in terms of family values.

.... the final ad is 36 secs including the stuff in the begining
.... the uncut version is fricking 1 minute and 48 seconds long

I for one was appalled at the commercial! I mean my son was watching it for Christ sakes! Do you know what that could do to a small child? He could grow up and start liking hot chicks!

Again......there seems to be silence from "concerned parents" regarding "IN THE EVENT OF AN ERECTION LASTING MORE THAN FOUR HOURS", but T&A is kryptonite.

Agreed x2.

This is just to cover up for last year (sorry for the bad pun 🙂 ). If they can sweep it under the rug it'll be ok, right?

Seriously. That has to have sparked more awkward discussions than a freaking boob.

The chick didn't do much for me. That isn't the only add that Fox had influence over. They also banned Miller Lites adds, which were to chastize AB for producing and marketing the new Bud Select. Things will change soon I'd imagine. The chair of the FCC retired this past month. He was C. Powells' son...lol.
