Anyone else as excited as I am?

Just woke up & saw that Carolina confirmed they are taking Julius Peppers 2nd overall. No big surprise but now there is no doubt.

Detroit will be an interesting pick... Quentin Jammer, Roy Williams, Joey Harrington, a possible trade down... man I love this weekend. 😀

Can't wait to see who the Steelers end up with. I'm hoping Edward Reed, but I think Daniel Graham may be more likely.

Any thoughts about the draft??
 
I'd love to see the Steelers take some offense. Josh Reed might slip to the 2nd, as will Foster. Too bad they aren't a few spots higher, since I really like Duckett.

I'm not sure I'm sold on Duckett. He'll probably be taken by the Brownies at 16 anyway.
IMO Ed Reed would fill our only 'need', if you can even call it that, at FS. Alexander is nothing to write home about, plus Lee Flowers is in his last year of his contract.

If Reed is gone, then I think Graham(TE) will be a possibility. Maybe pick up another WR in the 2nd round(josh reed, andre davis), then possibly get a guy like Ramon Walker (SS from Pitt) in the 3rd or so.

What I wouldn't give to be in the war room right now with Cowher and Colbert. 😀
 
What they need is speed in the secondary, but it's not an urgent hole. DBs(and WRs) in the first round are always a bigger risk than linemen or a RBs. With the 30th pick, they could do pretty much anything since you won't really be getting a first round quality player. But I REALLY hope they take a QB in the first 3 rounds.

Agreed. A strange development... I sure hope Jerry Jones knows what he is doing, because KC took Sims who Minnesota wanted, and Roy Williams might be their #2 guy. Is Dallas gonna be left with a lame duck pick???
 
Cincy does it again...LOL what a horrible pick.

Levi Jones will be a solid NFL tackle, mid to late 1st round, not a top 10 draft pick. Yeesh.
